A Unique Wedding Idea

What makes guests laugh like this?

You’ve finally found the perfect venue. You’ve tasted everything and you’d be very happy to never eat a chicken francese again. You’ve picked your invitations but you’re still wondering how to make your wedding unique. What will be the piece that everyone will be talking about a year later? What will be the surprise up your sleeve to give your guests a VIP experience? What’s a unique wedding idea that will really astound your guests?

How does magic for a wedding work?

I’ve been a secret weapon for event planners and couples looking for a unique wedding idea. In a way, it’s very simple. Each wedding is individual, and requires a different approach, but typically I make my way around the cocktail hour mingling with guests, performing sleight of hand and mind reading illusions for small groups. Other times I perform for the wedding party after dinner. Either way, I always bring with me an exclusive surprise magic piece just for the bride and groom. It ends with a magical souvenir for them to keep and… well, I’ve already said too much.

“Alex performed at our wedding and was fantastic! All of our guests were blown away. In addition to being a great magician he is also a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended for private events!”

Why am I in demand?

Over the years I’ve been invited by couples and event planners to perform at weddings I’ve honed the ability to make guests feel special. At the end of the day, I’ve found that’s why I’ve performed at weddings for celebrities, in top locations in New York, and as far away as the English countryside. I love practice, so when guests witness the magic they know they’re seeing world class sleight of hand, but like I said that’s just the beginning. Getting to know the guests, specifically choosing magic that’s interactive and engaging which allows me to form relationships with guests is really my secret. I know that couples also love letting guests know that they didn’t just get a magician, they booked a magician who’s performed on national television, The Magic Castle, and was featured in The New York Times. Other couples enjoy keeping my appearance a surprise. It’s a great feeling to hear from the couple a week or two after the event and hear from them the amazed responses from the guests. Guests aren’t only surprised by the magic, but by the unique idea for weddings to invite a magician to entertain the guests. Sharing my magic at weddings has become a specialty of mine, and I look forward to every night I can delight and wow guests at a wedding.
